- There are pines on the rocky side, but the sand is in the sun. Parasols are available to rent.

- Rock at the sides and a sand and rock bottom 4 to 6 metres down. The best part is towards Punta de na Cerdana.

- The water is usually calm, but there are steps to get down, rocky areas and no lifeguard or public toilets.
- Dogs: not allowed
- Calvià bans pets from its beaches. The municipality's dog swimming areas are Punta Marroig (Palmanova) and Cala des Gats (Costa de la Calma).
How to get there
- By car and on foot
- The Ajuntament (town council) lists public parking with no ORA pay zone. There is a dirt car park among the pines about 250 metres from the cove, with stones and roots on the ground and few spaces; in summer it fills up early. There is hardly any room to park on the road. Follow the signs along the Cala Fornells road from the centre of Peguera. From the road, several flights of steps, some of them steep, take you down to the sand. It is not adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- By bus
- TIB lines 101 and 102 (Palma - Peguera) stop at Bulevard - Garrovers, in Peguera, a little under a kilometre from the cove.
- By boat
- You can anchor in front, although the cove is exposed to winds from the east, southeast and south. Visit Calvià points to neighbouring Caló de ses Llisses as a more sheltered anchorage.

The Ajuntament rates it as lightly used, but the sand is tiny and in July and August there is little room left. The limited parking keeps numbers down a bit.
Tips and what to bring
- Park in the pine woods. The dirt car park is free but small, and the ground has stones and roots: careful if your car sits low.
- Shoes with a proper sole. The steps down can be slippery and the sides of the cove are rocky.
- Mask and snorkel. The water is very clear and the rocky seabed is good for a long snorkel.
- Bring a parasol or rent one. The sand is small and in the sun almost all day.
- Leave the dog at home. Animals are not allowed on Calvià’s beaches, and that includes this one.
The cove faces east. With a tramuntana (the north wind) or a ponent (west wind) it is usually calm; with a levante (east wind) or a southerly the sea comes in.
